"WHAT MATTERS MOST"
Through the scriptures we have always been made aware of what matters most to God. Over and over we have been given guidance and council about what our lives should really be about. In the book of James, chapter one we find these words in verse 22. "But be doers of the word and not merely hearers who deceive themselves."
We are called study and understand Gods word and then apply it to our lives. In recent years council to the church God keeps saying over and over that we are to reach out and share the message of love and peace with a world that is so much in need.
I feel very blessed to be a part of a congregation and a world wide church that meets together often for worship and fellowship. To be able to come together to support and encourage one another.
I hope that one of the many things that matters most for each of you is being able to gather in a community of loving support. We do that every Sunday at the Mesquite congregation of the Community of Christ.
Come and join us this Sunday. Regular attendance and participation is a discipline that is very beneficial, to you and your family.
